I always thought the double hump refered to the design on the front of the head... it looks like camel humps........ I think they are 202

I\'m not sure about anything

book says could be either 2.02 or 1.94, what is the casting number?

Most double hump/camel hump heads are 1.94 valves.

The numbers are 461,461x,462 and I think 291 is a double hump also.

The 461Xs are supposed to be the best flowing of all the old heads.

hi guys!

Im new.

anyway, i had a set of camel humpers and had a guy go through them at a good rep machine shop in seattle, installed them and ended up with a bit more power than stock. the money i spent and the performance i got was not near to the gains i got just buying a new set of aluminum RPM heads. we ran the numbers and the chamber was actually 62 cc, but they were worth more on somones vintage corvette than actually trying to build up a new v8.
