Alright guys, I need some serious help here. Here's a insane question for you all..
First off, I am installing a carb'd v8 into my 1999 s10, single cab...(say goodbye to passing emmissions, eh?!) So, obviously i bought an aftermarket wiring harness/kit....
My question is, especially for all of you 2nd gen owners who have done this mod, is how do you hook up the brake bypass set up at the column so that the brakes dont override the directionals @ the rear. being a 99, i believe this whole circuitry set up is/was external from the multi switch at the column, so there is no one wire i can find to tap into to have this happen.
i know in the older gm columns, there was a white wire you plug your brake switch output wire(white in the new wiring harness as well) to and it was built into the switch set up so it would work as suposed to.
This is one of the last things i need to figure out to get this thing on the road. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys, its killing me. Thanks again
