What are your thoughts... to me the front left (drivers) side seems heavy. These weights are without me in it so... it looks like this.

2678lbs including full tank like 16 gallons or more + ME = 2878lbs

Right Rear 566lbs or 21.1%

Left Rear 544lbs or 20.3%

Right Front 761lbs or 28.4%

Left Front 807lbs or 30.0%... I know thats not 100%....

Anyway the truck is "gutted" with stock "gutted" dash, one race bucket, no inner fenders, stock hood, no extra wiring or carpet, not caged, 9" ford rear, and Iron head 350SBC does this seem right? Wrong? what should I change?

the additional weight on the left front would be the steering box and master cylinder

Your left side wieght really isn't that bad.

left side weght is 1351 which is 50.45%

rear weight is 1110 which is 41.45 %

Their isn't too much you can do to move weight to the rear with out adding. THe chasss design wouldn't allow the motor to be set back anymore. If you could manage to move the engine just 1 set of bolt holes, It would gain you @ .5% rear.

I have almost the same setup except I have a cage and aluminum heads. 2740 lbs. 71% in the front. Traction really sucks too. TB 350 and a 4.56 gear does not mix with a big motor. Putting in a powerglide tomorrow. Hope that fixes it.

I will be putting a cage in at some point but dont really want the extra weight right now, maybe after I pick up a little more motor. Going to go with a solid (or roller if $$$ allow) cam next year and a balanced rotating assembly.
