I am going to get a 350 crate engine with cast iron heads and I currently have an 86 305, will the new 350 weigh more than the 305?

shouldnt... if they both have cast cranks ..maybe a difference of a few pounds...literally..

ya, not much difference, the 350 should be slightly lighter, bigger bore, less material.
