Block is .030 over 383 stroker and I am using Dart Iron Eagle heads. What head gaskets do you guy's recommend?

I would use a top of the line felpro.

Depends on compression ratio and application. Gonna spray it?? The gaskets with the raised up blue rubber beads will probably work good. Not the regular old perma-torq gasket. Sorry I can't remember part #s worth a damn.



But if you got crazy compression and gonna spray more than 100 shot I would go with a multi-layer steel gasket. Like the cometic or felpro MLS. I run the Felpro MLS. You can see them in my gallery. I actually prefer the cometic.

Felpro 1003 - I have not had a problem with them yet 13.5:1 compression. Used them on my Iron heads and now on my aluminum ones.

Thanks' for the info. Comp. is around 10.0:1 and I am not planning on spraying the motor.

got cometic on my 406 and have had many buddies use them they are the sh*! peroid
