Hey guys, check out Pinks All Out this coming week. I was told by a friend it was going to be the Rockingham, NC race that My friends and I went to. I have a buddy that will be on the show. Justin West from Dunn, NC. He will be driving a '69 Camaro. BTW the guy that wins it shouldn't even have been in the race. He majorly detuned his car when he saw what the feild was looking like. Before he made his first time trial. And he was still the fastest car but it was a good time. Lot's of fun.

Another buddy Joe was in the 9 sec. class that was being considered, but they decided to go with the 10 sec. class. He has a silver '71 camaro with a BBC. There was about 10 of us guys there with a wide range of ETs. Ranging from 12.0s to 8.29 so it was a good chance someone out of our crowd would be picked. Regretably, the S-10 was not ready. I was in the middle of adding my cage.

Also my other good buddy Micheal has a good chance of being on the show. He had the fastest ET of all the time trials. I think it was a 8.29 in the 1/4. After his first practice pass the night before the filming, he got some attention. When I was up at the line with him on his 2nd practice pass I almost got knocked down by the camera crew when they ran around in front of me. The car was getting some major air. A blue and gray Mustang with a BBC engine. It has a big cowl with a bug catcher sticking thru it. A wild little ride.

Check it out. I hope it's as good on TV as it was being there, but ya never know.

Good Showing Stroker1, made North Carolina racers look good. I don't like the whineing of Pinks, Pinks all out is a much better program. I don't care much for NHRA racing or the likes either, I would rather watch someone like me and you who don't have much money and most of the time have to do what they do on a budget and work out of there little garage at home or yard if your like me. I guess thats why I do like to watch Pinks, most don't have alot of money to blow on cars or trucks because they have to support a family. They may just run 10's or 11's but you can bet for most of us we had to work for the money we spent on our projects and done most of it ourselves. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

Did you guys see the kid in the nova who made it to the final 2. Now don't get me wrong I feel bad that he lost his mother. But he didn't want to bet any money becuse he had to pay for his moms funeral. She passed away a year ago? And he's driving a mint 10 second nova! But still paying for the funeral!!!!! Sounds strange to me.

Yeah, I thought that too!! I was told by my buddy who lost out in the 2nd round that he understood that the car was a father and son thing they had for a long time. And the mother wouldn't have wanted them to sell the car.

Also, I know Tracy Cockman who won the $10,000 and it was a little out of his character to give away $2,000 for someone who he didn't know. But I respect that. He didn't have to do it. Although I think he had a motive for giving away $2k. He was recently on the wrong side of the IRS.

Anyway it was a good time. I just wish they had showed more footage of the cars that didn't make it. Especially my friend Micheals mustang with the lowest ET. You know how crazy Nate is over a mustang. And that didn't even make the show. I quess they found out that was a heartbeat instead of a hoofbeat!! http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Pinks = Loose the race loose your ride

Nate = Loose all your rides work for pinks

That guys has lost 3 vehicles that I have seen. A bike and a car before he worked on pinks and 1 car after he joined the pinks crew.

I have to say, I like pinks all out alot more, and I was really confused by the kid in the nova. But I guess that makes sense.
