I think I might need to control the fuel in my carb a little better now that I started to get some OK 60' times(1.58). My final run last night really picked the front tires hard and I know I had my foot to the floor, but it sounded like I was in and out of the gas and the front end bounced much more than usual. I had plenty of fuel in the sumped fuel cell, so I don't think it was starving the carb.
I think I might need jet extensions and a vent tube baffle along with a improvised vent tube.
What have you guys done to help with fuel slosh?
I hope to have video soon...

The only problems I've had was slosh out the vents. Some years back, when I started launching in the 1.7 bracket, I was dumping out the primary vent on launch. A big puff of black smoke is a tip-off. A vent whistle fixed that. I also used to run a rubber sparkplug boot over the vent just in case.
............... Then for a while, I was doing burnouts beyond the box, then standing on the brakes before staging, and dumping out the secondary vent, flooding the engine. I just quit doing those burnouts. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif
................. I've got secondary jet extensions, Can't say that I've ever needed them. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

K- are you sure your float level is set correctly
You MAY need to raise it on the secondary side. I'm sure Grim , Ray , Zoomora might have something to say. Send me that pic from the rear showing your 28x10.5's on 10" wheel.
Later! James-

This pass is from much earlier in the day and it didn't have the problem. No video on the pass with the issue yet.

My fuel system consists of a Summit sumped fuel cell, -10 line to a large BG filter, Holley Blue pump, more -10 to a Summit(Aeromotive) regulator, -8 to each bowl. It built the system a little big for future growth.

All I have is jet extensions. I don't have any trouble (yet) with the vents though.
