Best for my application?

Well i have the chance to get a Ford 8.8 with disc brakes for a pretty good price. I have the choice of: 3.73 gears open or with Tracloc. or a 4.10 open.



this is going behind an 1997 LT1 from a camaro in my S10. Its just going to be a street truck, that well... im going to push pretty hard, hopefully running past a honda or two... and MAYBE run on a track once just for funzies...what gears/rear-end would be the best choice

using the T-56 six speed the goes with the LT1 from the Camaro

Well with that trans------ you may can stand the 4:11 gear--- depends on how much highway you do-- mine turns about 2800 rpm at 55--60 mph 373 350 trans-- 28 in. tall tires----- you need to figure that out to help you decide gear- you will want a posi rear
