View Full Version : Upper Rad Hose

Seems that the hose the book recomends is a good fit however it makes it sit higher than the rad filler neck..Any suggestions on a different hose/t-housing combo?
Its a carbed 350 and the rad is in the forward position.

buy one of those flex hoses that is just the right length and run it that way. Hope this helps you.

What racer1182 said is the easy way. It really doesn't look too bad, unless you are trying to make it look factory.

not sure what the book recommends because i don't have one. But i used an upper rad hose from an 85 cutlass with a 307, works perfect looks stock. doesnt sit higher than the fill.

i got a rad hose from auto zone, its from an 80 corvette and fits perfect if you cut about 3 inches off the part that goes into the rad.

early 70s camaro 350 right bend a little long needs to be trimed the manaul # didn't work on mine

Don't know what the book recommends, but I'm using the stock hose from my 4.3. Fits perfect with my setup.
