i was wandering how to lower my 85 jimmy. i took the front diff out and broke the cv down so now it is 2wd. but how do you lower it, besides lowering the torsion bars(already did). it still sits to high. can you re key the ends of the bars?
any ideas or links?
thanks for the help, just got my 383 in today!!!!!

hey grim, i'm doing the same thing....you will have to get the drop keys, this way you don't snap anything. And the back you can use blocks or springs, either or, or both. I would trust these (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=BEL%2D3922&N=700+ 4294908216+4294907470+115&autoview=sku).

the lowering keys are what i showed him. bell techs are nice but i used alot of springtechs parts for my drop on my 2000 and they are just as good as the bell techs and alot cheaper.
