need help finding wire.

i need some help locating a wire on a 91 s10. i need a wire that is hot in ignition and while cranking to run my fuel and msd trigger wire off of. anyone know which wire to use? thanks for the help

I was going to say you can hook up a power wire off the post on the starter (the one that is hardly ever used). This happens to be the one that the old points dist. hooked up to in order to have full power during starting. But, you stated you used the ignition wire, cool. Of course any pink wire for the engine harness will do the trick, and if you need to have a few amps running through it, you could use a relay.
