This might be a little off-topic but not really because a lot of us use Camaro engines/trans in our swaps. Last night my wife was driving her 96 camaro and went to push in the clutch and the slave cylinder broke off of the bellhousing. Yep the bracket that holds the slave cylinder just broke and the slave cylinder was dragging the ground supported only by the hose.

Question 1. Has anyone out there heard of this happening before? and

Question 2. Does ANYONE out there have a bellhousing they would sell me. The car is a 96 camaro with a v6 and 5 speed.

Thanks a bunch......... Dave http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif

put in the year, make, and model. the bellhousing is listed under "transmission bellhousing only"

go to page 2, theres one listed on there for less than $40. its for a 3.8.
