What Starter to use?

I have both starters from the 4.3 and the 5.7. The 5.7 starter is bigger and it does fit with plenty of room, but which one should I use? Is the 4.3 a low gear starter and will work better? Should I stick with the 5.7 starter?

if the 5.7 starter is off a 95+ i know its a high torque.. not sure about the 4.3 to be honest.

buy a mini starter i am in the process of the switch and that is what i used fits great

im not positive on the part number being the same but the GM replacement starters for the newer 4.3 and v8s look identical and are the mini torques they sound cool and work great i say if the v8 one fits use it keep the 4.3 one for a replacement if ya got them use them
