motor mounts 4.3 to Lt1 with 2\" body lift

I have read that the best mounts would be the 2.8 mounts for the frame because my engine will sit lower. I have a 2\" body lift so I\'m hoping that I could get the mounts that go directly to my 4.3 frame mounts and I wont have a problem with my height.



Any recomendations and are their special mounts for the LT1 compared to a vortec v8?



where should I buy these mounts?

You can try to make them, but call LHT (http://www.leeshightechtrucks.com) they got awesome mounts.

yeah maybe but i dont want to spend $235 for motor mounts, thats the price on their website and it seems a little rediculous to me. If someone had the pattern I could get them burnt out at a friends work.

...I\'v had the same question, about engine height. I also have 2\" body lift on my S10....A couple things I have found out is...the 2\" lift improves the clearances on the trans tunnel and increase the distance between the headers and the brake line on master cyl. But the one concern I had was that the engine would sit to low and look goofy...do you know if anyone here on the site has ran across this before ? Let my know what you find out...
