what does it take to put a 700 r4 into a 91 reg cab 2.5 with the borgwarner t5? im doin just a simple unrebuilt 350 swap with an auto for the fact that it is just easier and cheaper to find an auto trans then a standard

Thats almost a drop in swap!!!!
You need to hook the tranny lines to the trans cooler in the rad. Or buy a tranny cooler and mount it in front of the rad. Also you'll have to install a shifter inside the truck. Like a...B&M mega shifter or ....??? any of your choice.
Space.

Then there is the removal of the clutch pedal from under the dash. Pretty simple to remove. I also used a torch to heat and move the brake pedal over away from the gas pedal a little, but as always use caution with open flame inside the truck http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/s19.gif

i was lucky that i got a new cab that was for an automatic so i didnt have this problem, but just like everyone else said....cooler lines and a cooler, shifter and cable, flexplate, torque converter if the trans didnt come with it, adn then just unbolt the linkage and everything that was for the manual. I love my auto http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
