I am putting my superior radiator in and want to know if my two 10'' fans will be enough and they are pusher so can i just change the polarity and use them as pullers. Also do i need to turn the blades around.

i would say yes, but depends on your engine. i started with just 1 14" pusher on my 4.3 rad, but that wasnt enough so i also got a 12" for a puller, hopefully that will do the trick now.

but again, as both are pullers and that is a good radiator, i dont see any problems with that.

I've never used the curved blade fans, but it seems to me that if you reverse the polarity of the motors the reversed blades might tend to spread a little. they might or might not work. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

Well I left them the way they were and took it out for a drive and it was running 185-190 going down the road but when I stopped it would go up pretty quick so I came back to the shop let it cool down and me to because i was getting frustrated. Then i took the fans and turned the blades around put it back together and it cooled better but while idling the temp still creeps up there, I let it set and in about five mins it got all the way to 210 so i cut it off. It didn't go up as quick after i got the fans pulling better so i think i needs some bigger and better fans. Any recommendations Thanks for the input guys.

I started using restrictor plates rather than a thermostat. I was able to drop about 10 degrees on the highway and stays the same in traffic. Someone else here suggested that a while ago. Do you have a shroud?

When i put the radiator in i went ahead and put a new 160* Thermostat in and yes i have a shroud here is a pic (http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb286/1badblazer/0825071921.jpg)

I have been looking around and looking at the flex-a-lite 210 fans how do they fit on the superior radiator.

I had 2 12" pullers and it worked fine. I also used a Taurus fan, which also worked well but takes up more space.

I was having the same cooling problems you were having... I have Be-cool radiator, 2 12" pusher fans, 1 13" flex fan (soon to upgrade to 15" flex fan) added a 4.3 shroud, 160 F high flow thermostat, 1 bottle of Redline Water Wetter. I am also running A/C, and headers (the condensor blocks most of the radiator) & it was still overheating, but I took out those dust flaps on the inner fenderwells and that really seemed to help...thinking about adding a cowl hood now, as soon as I shut it off it jumps to 220F, and has started the melt the wiring harness rubber boot on the passenger side rear firewall..

I know that the Taurus fan is suppose to do good has anyone used it with the superior radiator. Thanks

It fits okay, If I remember right I mounted the top to the core support.
