My truck sometimes starts, sometimes doesn't. I thought it was the Electronic Control Module and that wasn't it. Also checked the Idle Air Control Valve, again no luck. Someone at my dads work said its the fuel log? Sounds like a fuel problem. Can anyone please help me with this.

When it fails to start check and see if you have fuel pressure. And then check to see if it's spraying fuel into the throttle body when you crank the engine over.
You got to know for sure if you have fuel and know if you have enough fuel. So start with these simple checks.

If it is tuned port instead of EFI--I THINK you need more fuel pressure than an EFI fuel pump can supply. But I'm not sure about TPI fuel pressures. Anyway, have you checked to see for sure fuel is coming out of the injectors when it fails to start? If you have fuel coming FROM the injectors, and you have spark then it should at least rumble and fire up briefly.
If it has been running, then suddenly fails to start check for spark. Then check for fuel pressure going down the fuel rail, and then check to see if the injectors are opening.
Remember, if you're gonna check for spark you gotta check it at the end of the plug wire first. If no spark you work your way backwards.
So for fuel, you kinda need to use the same logic. Check the fuel rail for pressure, and see if the injectors are working. Work backwards if needed from there to find what fails. If the injectors are not working but you have good fuel pressure then it's electronic. Maybe it's as simple as a loose connection.
Good luck to you. I'll help all I can, fuel injection is not my strongest subject. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Stroker...
I def have fuel going into the injectors. It also does sometime start for a few seconds and then it just dies.
I think I am going to replace my fuel pressure regulator. I just replaced plugs a yr ago and wires a month ago. I hope that my injectors arent leaking...
I will keep you posted, thank you for your help

i would say you arnt getting enough pressure. if it starts then it is priming but not enough to keep it running. a gauge would help things alot.

I replaced my fuel pressure regulator with an adjustable holley one. its really nice. I finally got the truck started, but now when I step on it going up a hill or passing on a highway it bogs. Is this just adjustment or is this something else?
Any help
