what is that hose goin from my exhaust manifold to my intake hose?

im not positive, but i believe it takes the hot air from your exhaust and feeds it back into the carb so that when its cold out.. the motor will warm up quicker, and you dont have to leave the choke on as long.. or have to use so much fuel to get it warm. Because as you know.. with colder..denser air.. you must run more fuel...

i know that it helps keep a carb from icing up in the extreme cold, it may have other purposes too but i took mine off on my carbed cars in the summer cause i didn\'t want hot air goin in.

my dad said it was so wher hot air sparks w/ cold fuel it expands better, or something like that

i think its called a TAC but i might be wrong it takes the warm air from manifold and feeds into intake..i had it on my 2.8tbi it runs off a vaccum motor that opens and shuts the hot air flow as needed
