Hello all, we (my students and I) are going to do an engine swap on a 91 sonoma. It has a 4.3 and a 700r4. We have it here at our tech school and are going to use parts that we can get donated. The truck will be a class project to get students more involved in the automotive program. I don't have pics yet but i'm sure we will have many questions. We already have a 350 builder engine and a 350 trans builder. We also have a 9 inch donated. It has a spool but the gears are bad. welcome. sounds fun. you should be able to find all the information you need between this site and the swap manual sold here, if not just ask.
