Just an update. I have an electric (Proform) water pump and Alan Grove alternator mount. Kept throwing the belt. Switched to morosso deep groove pulley, and still throwing belts. When it revs up you can watch the belt get all squirelly. Couldn't find a really narrow belt the right length. SO, I found one laying around that cam off of my old Maytag washer. Guess what, it will stay on at 6800 RPMs better than anything I have found at the parts stores. GO MAYTAG BELTS, the washer wan't worth a damn.
Just had to share. Stroker1

Stroker. Just a little information. We used to use truck pulleys on our race engines because they had so much deeper groves. I know truck pulleys won"t fit on your application. Just a little old time remedy. We used to have a 327 with a crower killer cam that would turn 9000 rpm and never throw a belt. Not that we did that very often but it would do it. Enough rambling .
