As close to the tank as possible. Pumps work better pushing. Mount it on the frame rail or the bottom of the body by the tank.

I already know that I have to mount it as close to the tank as possible, but I\'m trying to figure out where to put it.

I have mine on the bottom of the body right by the tank. I then ran new line to the frame rail original line(about 3ft). I then ran a new line from the original line under the hood up to the carb(about 6ft).

For a fuel injected engine the stock in-tank one is the best for the money.

you\'ll spend 150.00 from autozone for this pump but its worth it (1984 MECEDES) GAS ENGINE OF COURSE...we use them on all efi-hi pressure fuel sytems,my old blazer had a tpi 350 using this style pump,i put over 40,000 mi. on that war wagon no probs.it flows 190Lph..

I think ZZ4Blazer\'s recent quote would fit this thread nicely..... http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif
