Lopin, you said you got braided lines, and the trans is 1/4" pipe, but what ends on your lines? Flare? AN? Or? Flare should be available locally at a good Auto Parts store.

.............. But you probably have AN fittings. So you'll need to look at WW Grainger, a hose shop, specialty shop, or speed shop. Grainger, doesn't mention AN, they just call them "dash" sizes", just look under Hydr. fittings.

I went to True Value and bought 1/4" barbed hose ends. Screwed them into the tranny, then pushed the an-line over then barbed end and put a hose clamp on it. Threaded an an-fitting to the tranny cooler that was designed for an- fittings.

And for the fuel pump I just pushed the an-line over the fuel pump nipple, then put a hose clamp on it too.

Lopin, The fitting is a flare or 45 deg angle. The AN fittings are 37 deg angle. The flares can be done with a flare tool rented from the Auto store. The easiest way to adapt you AN line is pipe to fitting. Use a short piece of 1/4 pipe tubing with the flare on the end. Use a compression adapter to change over to AN or NPT. NPT would work better. They sell NPT to AN adapters everywhere.
