This question is mainly for Mike, but members can also help...

Do you still sell a hose splicer kit? I wanted to purchase your part number S10-127 if you still can supply it... If not, could you please tell me where I could get hose splicers similar to the ones in your book, I can never find them anywhere and have to settle for a restrictive nylon type... I do other types of engine conversions and can't always find a hose that fits and looks like OEM... I'm working on my S10V8 at the present time but before that I put a 94 Camaro 3.4L V6 w/World Class T5 in a 1980 MGB Limited and had to use a splicer on the bottom hose, it was a nylon splicer also... Anybody know a good place to get brass, copper or steel hose splicers?

I've bought pieces from True Value before for spicing hoses together. I'd rather use the brass, but fnding the right size and cost is sometimes difficult. Most of the time I have ended up buying a piece of galvanized or black pipe. Many different sizes and there are adapters to go from one size to another.

Stay away from exhaust pipe adapters. They rot! They might last a year. maybe!

Space.

I do not know if Mike sells the splice kits. I will let him answer first, if he doesn't sell them, I will give you a link of who does.

Thanks for the reply space, I'm hoping to find splice connectors with barbed ends or nipple ends so they can't blow off under pressure if the clamps get a little loose, not just plain pipe, I've got plenty of that... I never heard of a True Value hardware store here in Florida, just drug stores... I got the nylon splice with barb ends from Home Depot, but for a 1 1/4" hose it restricts it down to about 1" and I don't think that's to good to have in my upper hose, I'm trying to keep as much flow as these small 1 1/4" hoses can carry...

Also thanks to grimpuppy, that would be great if you could give me a link to something similar, I am still searching... I am surprised that Mike didn't say anything yet, maybe I have the wrong Mike, I was thinking he was the writer of the book? How do I find out if something I saw in the Book is still available?

Thanks again grim, I don't know why I didn't see that before, anyway you have been a great help, now maybe I can get the right splicer for my upper hose and buy a few extras for future engine swaps...

I'm all so looking to fine this kit. And when I put the part number in the parts search it fines nothing. So is it still for sale or not?

I did not see that there was an answer to this thread.
And I can not fine the reducer bushing anywhere or the brrass splicer local.
Please Help Thank you
