Allright everyone, just trying to get an estimated time gain. RayL ought to be pretty close on this one. With my current setup, what times gains can I look at with a 150 shot of the juice??? Right now 11.79 in the 1/4 and 7.49 in the 1/8th.

Whats the lobe seperation on that camshaft?? I dont see any reason why it wont pick up atleast 8 tenths in the 1/8th and a second in the 1/4

I think what you have will work well on the bottle (150). But you haven't maximized what you have on motor yet. I think you got some more numbers in that thing on motor. But you would need to change gears. What you have should work about right on the spray. Maybe a 4.10 would be better but you would hurt your streetability.

My guess is 6.80s on the 150 shot. Maybe some high 70s.

what works on motor, dont work on nitrous. Loose converter and a bunch of gear wont help any on the gas. Your motor should be "tuned" though. I wouldnt change anything in your combo yet. Once you spray it you might want to get it faster on the spray http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

I did do the thinkiing of changing gears but I have decided to stay where I am at right now due to the driveabilty of the truck. Yes I agree there is more in the truck on just motor and I am going to try and work on that when I get home with some more tuning and also go to manual steering, remove the engine driven fan and move some weight around. As for the converter, right now I am showing about 1% slippage so I think I am good there especially for the gas. That was a concern when I had the converter built so I should be good. The only downfall I see will be the 26" tire and the added torque out of the hole. I love the idea of faster and faster but I also enjoy being able to cruise the truck around town plus knowing it will run 6's at the track. I am still in the trial and errror stages with this set-up and I know there is room for growth. Ray did you get my PM?
