trans brake?

probably going to go with a trans brake for next season, any advise? Does anybody have a trans brake in their s10's? You guys think my 8.8 rear end will hold up. I want to go with a th350 or would a glide be the better choice.

Can you be more informing about your intentions and expectations? Seems to me that question needs to come with more information. 350 or glide?? Depends on what your looking to do and what you already have.



But just off the top of my head I'd say a glide for ALMOST any combination. And you also have 1.76 and 1.82 1st gear ratios with the glides. They all have there pros and cons.

1.76 glide is the safest, cheaper( in the long run) way to go.

if the 8.8is built accordingly it will stand up to anything you can throw at it, and the glide gets my vote as well

ya I thought a glide would be good too, im looking for a set up to really pull the front wheels high. I guess I have to put some high gears in the rear end too. Im taking the truck off the street and putting it on a trailer
