2000 V8 tach mod

Is there a capacitor change mod to convert the 2000 S10 V6 digital tach to V8? If not, will I need to purchase a signal adapter? Who has a reasonable priced one? I want to keep the stock guages.

At one time I had a link to a shop out in Florida that specialized in S10 v-8 conversions and they charged $50.00 to convert your 6Cyl tach to a 8cyl taach but the link is now dead and I have had no luck finding anyone else that does it.
