Alright, ive got a 92 350, used to be fuel injected, now its carbed, its got an edelbrock performer intake, edelbrock performer 600 cfm carb. What cam should i run. I usually run the highest at like 5250-5500 rpm when racing, so what cam should i get. The engine isnt built for big hp, its at about 325 or so now, i still want it to idle right, maybe a little rough, and i still want a little gas mileage. Just give me a suggestion, or what your running. I want to go with edelbrock, to match with everything else, like whats the durations and the lift. THanks a bunch, i think this will help alot, because i have a FI cam in it right now, like it wont pull much more at like 3500 rpms at like 110 or so, and it should pull till about 45 at least. Thanks

i already have the rest, shoudl i just go with the cam thats in that kit??? I think it will help, thats what i was leaning towards. But also, i read about something about FI cams have something different bout them, cant remember what, other than the duration and stuff, but something was weird, i think i read it in JEGS or SUMMIT.

i believe that edelbrock lists two performer cams for a SB chevy. Get the one with the bigger lift and duration. I think its like 204 duration with a 420 lift. I had one of these cams along with the performer intake on a 350 in a different S10 i had when i was younger. The thing just flew, it idled great and got fairly good milage. It is by far one of the better cams i have used.
