ok whe have all been through this before but help please

i just got my s10 running again. i need a 3.42 limited slip or posi rear. what can i get it out of and be a direct bolt in no fab work, disk brakes are ok but no cutting or welding? please let me know i will be going to junk yard soon.

Nothing! LOL Posi rears are very hard to find...I should know I work in a salvage yard.

As for the disc brakes it can be done without much work. I have them on my truck. Some of the newer S-Blazers came with disc brakes but I believe they are too wide and are for the 4WD only. I used a center section out of a Camaro to get my posi.



I do wish you luck in your search. It is not impossible but darn tuff to find a 2WD posi rear end.

My Currie 9\" was a direct bolt in. Wasn\'t cheap though.
