Did anyone read this months CHP?

They have a thing in there about putting v8s into s-10s and they basically said they are hard to do and totally screwed up by saying that they have 8.5\" 10 bolts. I hate when mags don\'t have their info right!!!! I really pisses me off!!!

lol, hard to do.

I wouldn\'t say hard, maybe easy would be another word they could of used.

If you have the right parts and tools and the knowledge then it\'s pretty easy.

REally? I\'ve found CHP to be very informative and entertaining.

Go get the new HOT ROD. They\'re supposed to have the details and tests about the 5.0 rwd Focus kit.

I have seen both 2wd and 4wd 2nd gen trucks with 8.5 rears. All of the 2wd trucks were 4.3 5-speeds. Here is a pic of a 2002 ZQ8 truck with a 8.5.

The thing is they clearly state that they are talking about \'82-\'94 s-10\'s because of the fact they are inexpensive to buy. They also make it sound like accesory brackets don\'t fit because they have pics of a bastard alternator bracket some dude made from cobbling together a few parts.
