I have a 88 2.8 S-10. I just bought the truck and yanked the motor out. So I really am not familar with the truck yet. I remember seeing something looking like a large fuel filter or regulator on the front of the 2.8. Wich is it, regulator or filter.

Next, I\'m putting in the 91 TBI 350 out of a Suburban. Where would the regulator be on that.

Where should I put mine. On the motor or the frame some where. I did take the lines that connect to the tbi off a later model 4.3. But I didn\'t notice a regulator. (wasn\'t looking for one) Wonder if that regulator set up would work on my 350.

Any Idea\'s, thank\'s

the fuel regulator is built into the throttle body! so just hook up the lines to that, and the other thing where is it located, i think maybe ya thinking its the canister, is it black, if so it just holds the fuel vapour.

was the motor in it a carb or fuel injected before ?
