my 87 s10 has a \"4 tech\" 4 cylinder in it. its not the original motor. what did they put these motors in? is it just a fancy 2.2 er what? maybe its worth a little more than a regular 2.2 to someone http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif that\'d be nice.

It\'s a 2.5L! Not even much good for a boat anchor! LOL

Nothing special at all.

the 2.5 liter in the s10 are know as the iron duke motor...as they are all made of iron ,...no aliumnim...i got my truck in 1993 ..it\'s a 1992 model...it had 33,000 miles on it....over the next 3 years ...yes i said 3 years i put over 200,000 mile\'s on it...than i decided to put a v8 in it...so i striped the motor and tranny out and sold them on ebay ...i made enough $$$$ from them to pay for the conversion...but if you want to get real crazy....have some 2.02 valve and 1.60 valves put in the heads and it has a 4.00 bore...get the picture...lol...
