if i go with this tarus fan ...and i have a all msd ingition set up ....how many amp\'s do i need to keep my battery up when i have all my light\'s on at night....the info says it take like 30 amps to run it and 100amps to start it....come on guy;s ..i have pocket full of income tax money ..and im dieing to spend it...

A 100amp would be pleanty for a Tarus fan and the other little things your running.

I believe it is like 46 amps for a stock one wire.

I use a 94amp off of an 85-87 Chevy. Car,truck,Celeberty,P6000, a lot of the GM\'s use them. I also use the MSD ignition and have a full Bose stero with 8 amps on board. Have never had a problem with the battery.

a stock 1980 altornator is 60 amps,you can also get a 70amp hd altornator from a caprice i beleive thats the biggest one that they made around that year, but get the big one that fasrnur uses, i have the same one now, works awesome

I have acouple old alternators laying around..i know they work good, how do i tell what amp they are?

Stamped on the side or in the front above the fan it will say...40A,60A,70A,90A...this is the amperge.
