My new s10

I just bought a 91 s10 with no bed or no seats or glass. It already came set up for a small block, with headers and exhaust 2 1/2 inch flowmaster 40 series. The exhaust comes out right behind the cab. It was lowered in the rear with blocks 3 inches. I am going to use the parts from my s10 that i wrecked. Just got some 67 camaro black leather bucket seats for it. As soon as i come up with 250 bucks i will have a 305 tpi and a 700r4 out of a 85 camaro z-28. I found a 2.73:1 posi rear for like 50 bucks too. So i plan on having it done by my birthday hopefully. That gives me till May 4th. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

HOLY 2:73\'S?????????? i\'d seriously look into getting some different gears, i had 3.08\'s and hated them, with 2:73\'s and a 700r4 it\'ll be idling at 60mph in 4rth, not good... i got 4.10\'s huge differance, but 50 buicks for a posi is dirt cheap, i paid that for my drum to drum open diff and thought i got one of a good deal, so grab it and get some 3:73\'s and you\'ll be happy http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

i had 3.08s in mine and liked the lower rpm on the highway i guess it depends on your useage of the truck but with a 700r4 you could go with a higher gear and be fine
