I never set my motor back and I run flex 210 and have 1/4 inch between the water pump stud.

If you have to, you can do what bon said and move the radiator inside the support, it\'s fairly easy to do, just some cutting and bolting involved. Either than or run a low profile elec fan but most people dont have any trouble

i\'f your using the shroud still take it out and mounmt the rad right against the rad support like in my pictures, you can just use a coupld l brackets on the bottom to hold it in place and a peice of sheet metal on the top bend it into place and bolt it in using small blots, so check out my pictures, my enigne is about 3/4 of an inch away from the firewall and i had room for a long water pump a 1\" spacer and a plastic flex-a-lite 16\" flex fan, it runs 180 all day long with the 4.3 rad even with a 400+hp 355 it ran the same temp

I\'m running a 305 with serpentine system in my 94 with a/c. By cutting out the

bottom section of the top radiator support you should be able to move both the condenser and the radiator forward. You might have to notch the center

support a bit. There is about a 1/2 inch to be gained by moving the radiator

closer to the condenser. I put some closed cell foam tape on the edge of the condenser to prevent metal to metal contact. Then just fab some little metal brackets out of 3/4 band iron to hold the original rubbers in the new location. The fan I\'m using is a 17\" flex on a 1\" spacer. I had to bend the blades back just a hair to clear the p/s pump.

I run a corvette radiator as sold here & JTR, but still had problems in the summer with the a/c on. Especially if I had anything in the back of the truck. I don\'t think the 94 style grille lets as much air in as the older body style did. I bought a Stewart water pump from their web site for $70. It increases the flow rate about 30%. It was like magic, no more cooling problems. Just be sure everything is tight because that extra flow will show any leaks real quick. I\'ve done 3 conversions and have always felt cooling was a major concern on air conditioned V8 S10\'s. Since switching to the Stewart water pump I feel that cooling is no longer any problem. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
