i have an 89 s-10 with a ZZ4 motor with the bigger cam and roller rockers. this winter i plan on tubbing it and building a 522hp motor from my zz4 bottom end, and adding a nos cheater system. the prob is i have the heddman shorties that only have 1.5\" primaries. i want to run 3\" exhaust. where can i get a set of simple hedders with 1 3/4, or 1 7/8\" primaries. what about sanderson, do they have a web site? thanks for your help.

There is a guy on Ebay who sells a set, don\'t have a clue whether their worth it.

I have a blown SBC (610hp) running the hedmans without a problem.

Use the Headman Longtubes....If you wanna make power dont use shorties anyway. the headman longtubes have a 3\'\' collector also.

The headmans are good for low end torque becaus ethey only have 1.5\" tubes. That\'s why I am not using them. If you want to get big horsepower and run fat front tires then the big tube shorties are about the only way to go.

If you want shorties, sanderson\'s rule. Their site is sandersonheaders.com. I had a pair jet hot coated. Looked awesome.

From what I understand, the heddman long tube headers have a 3\" collector. I\'m either gunna get a pair of these or have my own made, a guy i know has the heddmans and says he \"loves them, they fit nice.\" http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

Sanderson and hedmans looked the same? The sanderson\'s are way better quality. The flange is like twice as thick, and the primares are thicker too.

Long tubes are for low-end power as well as top end fellas... Also my Headmans measure 1 3/4\'\' primaries. With 3\'\' collectors. Also what is the deal with running fat front tires? Is there supposed to be some sort of clearance issue here that im missing? Cause i dont have a problem putting a 10\'\' wide up front.
