tranny questions?

i have a 92 ext cab s-10 i have a 350 wit a turbo 350 trans and it has a 12\'\'(longer of the 2) tailshaft do i have to get my drive shaft shortend and how much will i? and does this tranny bolt to the stock tranny x-member?

12\" is the longest of the 3. I believe only the 12\" came in the older caddy\'s. 9\" usually came in trucks, and the 6\" came in cars. 6\" is common. I originally used a 9\" tailshaft Th350 in my blazer, and didn\'t cut my shaft. But, with an extented cab, good luck. They came with a couple different driveshafts too.
