I am going to be running 333882 heads, Edelbrock Performer Intake, Hedman Headers, Dual exhaust all the way back to Flowmaster 40\'s, Stock 350 (Not bored), with a 750 Qjet, electronic fuel pump, and a crane cam (100052) with 272/272 and 216/216 @.50.
I would like to make at least 325-350. Thanks.

WITH THAT SETUP,YOU\'RE GONNA BE PUSHING MORE AROUND 290-310,BUT STILL ENOUGH TO PUSH YOU AROUND PRETTY GOOD.WHAT YOU NEED IS TORQUE,NOT HORSEPOWER

what he said ^ about 290, try going with a head with a smaller chamber, you could go to some 305 4 barrel heads off a camaro, they still have decent valve sizes and a 64cc chamber to raise your compression a little bit, if it\'s a stock 350 you\'ll only be running about 8.5:1 compression, if you got it around 9.5 you\'d still be able to run pump gas absalutley no problem, even if you went to 10:1 no problem, and that will make a considerable hp increase, and if you got those heads you coul;d have them machined to put bigger valves in and do some minor porting with a dremal and change valve springs and stuff, they won\'t cost you a whole lot, and will be well worth the money http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif and hey even if you leave it the way it is you\'ll still be able to beat 5l\'s no problem

I was wondering what the 33382 heads are stock or what makes them different from my double hump heads. Everyone says I am only running like 250 horse and I have everything hes gut plus double hump heads. Thanks

I can get a set of 305 heads off of an 84 Z28. Yeah I think the chamber isze on the 882\'s is 76cc. That\'s large so I knew that the compression would be down with the HP. Is it possible to shave these heads and get the increased compression I need?
Any suggestions for casting numbers for the 305 heads if I go for that option. The valves are small though, like 1.85 on the intake.

dont bother putting money into cast iron heads, just save your money up and get a set of aluminum heads, the weight savings and hp increase is insane! i have a set of ported cast iron heads that were rebuilt and cost me more than $800 to rebuild, just save up the money and get a nice set of aluminum heads like the edelbrock or afr heads... just my opinion..... i now own RPM heads, yet to put them on, but they make tons of hp..... o and one more thing, dont get stuck on the intake runner sizes if you want to get heads, the larger intake ports are good for high rpm\'s just do your research and find out what you want to do before you waste money on those heads..... also, the compression wont really make that much more hp with those heads, the chamber and port design is crap!
hey kory i dont think your making much more than 260-275hp. You really dont have much more than stock done to your motor.

I agree with miah sounds like you have around 250-260 horsepower. Cause bone stock 350\'s have 235-240, and some I am told by a machine shop have 180.
