rear lowering springs

anyone have any thoughts on using rear lowered leaf springs. i want to lower the rear a few inches and i am kinda leary of using blocks to lower it with the power of a v-8. should i be concernd with spring wrap or the likes with the aftermarket springs?

with stock springs it\';ll be just as bad as it will be withaftermarket ones, they aftermarket ones have basically the same spring rate, they are just lower, ad you can also run some traction bars then too
