i pulled my ecm out and plugged the hoel with a peice of sheetmetal and panelbonding adheisives, i then got a wiring harness from a older carberated s-10 and put it in it plugged right into my fuse box and has only the wires you wll need, you can gety one without a/c like mine, the a/c wiring harness has extra wires in it, just get the harness for what you need, a wrecking yard will be able to hook you up and you can most likely trade them your stuff for theirs, or you can contact icequeen on this site and she\'ll be able to make you a harness

what about the motor mounts and oil pan i herd that in a 89 and newer 4x4 that the oil pan doesnt need to be changed becuase they either dont have a cossmember in the way anymore or it was modified and the mounts will bolt right up after they are moved if they are 4.3 mounts what you have to say??

my 87 is using a stock pan but i have about 4.5\" suspension lift and about 2\" body lift so i have way more clearence than normal. If you leave it stock hieght you may also need an oil filter relocation kit if you dont already have one. on my truck i dont need one but even with the lift the diff still comes close to making contact with the oild filter. just so you know!
