the frames are the same basically and i believe the nv3500 is the 5 spd of choice

2nd gen frames are basicaly the same except there boxed and stronger go with the nv3500 that 4 more stated I pretty sure it comes stock with the 4.3\'s now I believe anyway thow anyone know?

Yes a the NV3500s came behind 4.3s also I think they used them in fullsize trucks. Make sure it came out of a chevy truck I think dodge also uses this transmission.
