Need help bad

Ok..We puled the dash out of a friends 91 s-10 2.8 5spd.....we put it back together and it wont start...the gauage shows it has now power...the batt has 12.93V the alt has the same the post on the starter has the same and the fuse block has the same..I went thru the dash(after removing it again) and didn\'t find anything...I\'m very very lost please help!!! http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

try the conection on the steering colum

I\'ve already checked all that..tats what I dont understand I can\'t get the gauage to read anything over 8V but theres 12 going into the dash wiring harness,,,it looses it all somewhere I just can\'t figure out where

sounds like a bad connection or maybe some corriosion formed when it was apart??? good luck try taking out again i guess

It was pulled aout about november and put back together about the middle of feb
