i cut 2\" off the top of my 88 s10 i dotn regret it but i now realise how much work i have in front of me. i have been taking pics so when im dome with the chop top ill give you all the pics so mabey you guys can try. ive been told chop tops are for pro autobody men but i dont find it that impossible it just took alot of thinking(and alot of bondo). before anyone trys this realise you cant use the side or rear windows because there tempered glass and cant be cut so you must make plexyglass or speedglass windows. and the windshield when slanted back has toomuch of an arch and the top must be bent to fit it. as ive been told get the windshield cut and make the body fit the glass because it hard to make the glass to fit the body.

Well I hope you added length to the roof when you chopped it or your screwed. you have to keep the angle of the wind sheld the same as it was or you cant get one cut. The side windows will be fine uncut if you did this correct. It takes a lot more than just cutting the the 4 posts and the doors. Draw this up on your cad cam and you will see what I mean.Good Luck.

I was looking at my truck and i was wrong the side windows would have to be cut.

Yea i choped the front and back so its slanted forwards i will have to get all my windowas cut but it will look sweet when im done. i didnt get started on the doors yet and i know thats going to be hard to match it so the gap is perfect.
