Stereo addition?

Wondering if we should add that stereo forum on that has been talked about, and maybe a stereo section in the gallery?



What do you all think?

i think it would be cool, although this is s10v8.com i still think it would be a good idea to offer other things, extreior mods, and interior mods as well, but the enigne conversion should still be the main priority, but i don;t imagine that the stereo part will get too out of hand i say we should go for it

I\'m definately in for it. Although I removed my stereo components prior to my whole project and swap, I will be re-installing them and upgrading at the same time in the near future when the thing is running. I\'m sure there are plently of audiophiles here that would contribute. I guess if things didn\'t pick up or work out they could be moved to the misc. category or the interior/exterior mods http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

I am all for it. i know that it is an s10v8 website, but am i wrong in thinking that site can serve as a place for you s10, no matter what the setup is? i know personaly that i am only gonna have a small system (compared to my car). so that is a vote yes for me http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

This is a site for S10v8\'s. We get alot of people that post that dont have a v8 in yet, and thats all good because they are asking questions about how and what is needed to do the swap. But lets just imagine that we get a badass stereo section going and we get tons of people in here checking it out. Next thing you know we\'ll have em\' saying stuff like, \"well i may not have a v8 in mine but at least i have a better system\" or crap like that thats gonna need locked and what not.



Other than that im all up for it as long as it\'s not going to get out of control with non-v8ers posting BS.

That is a good point, but I would figure that most people that join this site are drawn in because of the name. so I figure if you are going to pay to be apart of a site that is for the s10 v8 content. with the other stuff on here it is just a bonus, that is what i think.

don\'t worry about stereo people. They (including me) go to sound domain.com to look for other systems. Most stereo people are not going to post in a website (and one you have to pay) to ask the few people on here who are into stereos about anything.

I am all about go and not much about show. I would not mind there being more picks or forums, but the audio is sort of hard to hear on the picks. About the forums, I think that some S10 sites become all about the outside of the vehicle, like bagging them and putting nice stereos and all sorts of show off stuff. They do not have any posts in the engine forum for days, or any forums about V8s.

I was very proud to show my friends this site and all the muscle that is behind it (drag videos, pics of engine bays) I would hate if anything would happen to it.

Anyway I can always learn more, so love to hear about it.
