Tonight i was sitting at a stoplight and this kid pulls up next to me in a BMW M3...probaly daddys car. Now i admit my truck is not pretty, honestly the box is ready to fall off of it, but its still pretty fast. Anways this kids staring at me and his buddy in the passenger seat is giving me a thumbs down. Now i have heard these cars are pretty fast, in the magazines they run good 14 second quarters, but thats with a professional driver. So i figured i\'d give these punks a run for there money. Green light and even smoking the tires i had the SOB\'s by about 1 car lenths off the line and kept pulling on him. I let off for the next stop light and waited for the kid and he pulled up next to me and gave me the bird. What a jerk off. $40,000 for a beamer and my S15 with only $3,000 in it was kicking his ass. I laughed so hard. Anyways my first real test of my truck and i thought i would share. I\'m so proud!!!!!

I had a guy in a Porshe Boxter race me once, I\'ll admit he beat me by about a car length, anyways we get to the next light and he said, damn that was a close one. There not all bad.

GOOD KILL MAN! while we\'re on the subject....I had the small block in my truck for about 2 days, and mind you that i was just breaking it in...had the limiter at 3200 rpms, and a kid in a Prelude with Exhaust \"intake\" and what ever other stuff the add on, pulled up making all the racket he could like he wanted to race. So as we went from a second gear roll and I nailed it at the same time as him and immediatly started to pull him hard. Well just about the time i was about 3 cars ahead the limiter kicked in....time to go to 3rd, so i did and then let off. I pulled into a gas station up the road with him hot on my tail. He got out and asked what the hell i had in there and when i told him i had a small block he thought i was talking about a v6 or something. I corrected him. \"Well i guess i just got beat by an S-10 on steriods i guess\" he said. heres my race...well it wast a import ..maybe it is...any way we all know what a dodge viper acr is right ...so i get my new 3in 2 chamber flowmasters on finely and i go for a ride...i get to the gas station and i get gas ..and i leave ....i go about a mile and a dodge viper acr pulls up beside my reving his motor up ..i really dont like to street race because it is dangerous ...any way i just look at him and i go on..and at the next stop light ..same thing...and at the next light ..which is the last one going out of town..he does it again...so i had to race to defend my self...my truck is on street slicks by the way...the light goes green and we are off ...all i have to say is that he has a 100,000 car and i have a 4000.00 truck and i never seen him beside me or even close to me..i beat him by 3-4 cars ...ok so than we pulled over and shot the bull for a while...and he says man thats a lot of power ..maybe i\'ll by a vette next time ..and i said why i out run them every week at the drag strip... http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

Its possible that he out ran the guy...very possible. The ACR\'s run mid-12\'s here on motor..I know because a one of my friends has one. Also if the guy in the one he raced didn\'nt know how to drive he coulda won. And if he was to have a low 12 sec truck he coulda won, so dont go doubting anyone tell you know the facts. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

There a several s10\'s in the gallery that run under 10 seconds in the 1/4 all day long, and there street legal too.

just because a car is 100,000 does;t make it fast...and i do not lie ..i have no reason to lie..it is just a mater of horse power to weight ratio...my truck runs 12.00with a best of 11.78 in cool weather and i drive it almost every day..i picked up quite a bit when i put my dual plane and single intake back on with a single 4 instead of the tunnel ram..and i put a smaller cam in and took out my soild cam ..i think the problem was that i had way to much carb and to much cam for the converter..the new mods have proven them self to. as you can see...my first victim was a acr viper ..beleave me or not i really dont care...just put your money where your mouth is and you will see how fast it is...thank you http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

a little 125 shot for now...i cant afford to build any more motors for now and im just being converstive....maybe around income tax time i will try a 250 shot or so ...but i have to get new pistons first.....and thats when im getting my new headers ...ive thought about a blower...
