View Full Version : wiring up my blinkers

i removed my dash and lighted every thing up...i cut 256 wires out .....it was a fuel injection truck with air cruise,,,etc...i have rewired every thing ..now i have brake lights tail lights head lights.hi-low beams...but i just can\'t seem to get my blinkers to flash ...they come on but will not blink...i have tried every....thing...the blinker parts that makes it blink does work,,..i can run a hot wire to it and it does that blinking noise...does any one know where i should run my wires to and from.....by the way i lighted the truck up by 75 pounds by doing this.....all the air ducting ...heater core ....cables...wires,,,..padding...any help will be great...i will have some pictures of the 427 next week to post...

Have you checked your grounds? And not to make you sound bad but how \'bout the sockets? They also need to be grounded.
Do the bulbs come on but don\'t blink?
I would be willing to bet that when you find out what it is you\'ll kick yourself for how small and stupid it is. It\'s alwys a stupid little thing that cuases the biggest problems. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

I HAVE EVERY THING ....THEY COME ON BUT DONT BLINK...I CANT FIGURE OUT WHERE TO RUN THE WIRES FROM THE BLINKER PART....

power for blinker lights goes from fuse into blinker relay from relay to blinker switch which splits off to two channels l/r run each channel to the corresponding light done
