I think that a good addition to the parts section here would be the Red Line Watter Wetter additive. I think it would sell alot to us in here.

Who agrees with me?

I have a 350/ 350 combo, modine radiator and a taurus electric fan when I am sitting in traffic it goes to like 175 or 180 and when ia m moving it hangs around 165. On the interstate it tends to warm up to like 200 or so I was wondering will water wetter help keep it even cooler.

It should...It\'s one of those things that doesn\'t hurt to try..for $8.00 a quart it\'s not going to hurt you thats for sure..One quart treats up to 22 quarts of coolant. It\'s advertised to lower operating temps by up to 30 deg. so you should be able to get 10-15 outa it easy.

Oh and 200 is not a bad tempature to be running on the highway..anything above 220 is bad but + - 190-200 i would be very happy.

Water wetter worked in our racecar at the ovaltrtack. It is pretty good stuff. Wouldn\'t be a bad idea at all in my opinion. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

Hell you probably spend more time trying to keep it warm than hot.....I know how it is, im from northern Minnesota(5miles from the boarder)

I remember plugging the car in when you stopped and sometimes even having to put hot coals under it to get the oil in the pan unfrozen. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_frown.gif
