hey i am really interested in upgrading to an electric fan setup and i was wondering which fans i should use and about how much cfm i will need to cool her off..... i have a 350 with edelbrock RPM package so i am makin somewhere between 420 and 430 hp..... and i have a griffan radiator with a high flow water pump and high flow 160 degree thermostat..... also i was thinkin of changing to a 180 thermostat..... i have a pic of my radiator on my website..... just go to page 4 on this site www.cardomain.com/id/trucky350 any help would be greatly appreatiated!!! also, if ya cant tell from the pics, the radiator fits in the support so the radiator is not as wide as the 4.3 rad..... but it is thicker!

I had basically the same motor in mine a while back. I used a HD 4.3 radiator W/160 degree thermostat and dual 10 inch electric fans. I also had aluminum trick flow heads. I dont know if that would make a cooling difference or not. The 2 10 inch fans had no problem keeping the beast very cold.

yea, i read that post before i put this one up, i just wanted to know more stuff for my specific application.....

ok so here is a better question..... will two 12 inch fans fit? and how much CFM do you need to keep it cool?

For v-8 ya need min of 2500 cfm and two 12 should work aslong as they push that much! http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif
