I would try to get a set of atleast 1.94\'s.I would use the 327 heads if you have a set.1.8 would really hurt your flow.

The 305 heads would raise your compression ratio but would not have good flow. Go with you 327 heads and put in some 1.94/1.60 valves. Light port pocketing and you\'ll be just fine.

if they both have the same size valves, and the 305 heads dont need work, that is a no brainer. i would put on the 305 heads till you can afford some better ones.

Make sure that you check the valve to piston clearance that the dont hit if you use the 58cc heads it could do some real damage.Even if they are stock pistons its a good idea.

take the 305 heads to a machine shop(not a race only shop, but a rebuilder shop),have them cut the seats to 2.02/1.60 sizes and put your own valves in. you will have about 125.00 in all of it.

Try using 1.6 rockers on them, it\'ll let it breath a little better.
If you know your lift on your cam, divide it by 1.5, then multiply the answer by 1.6 and you\'ll have the lift you\'ll have using 1.6 rockers.
