What is the best adjustable thermostat switch for electric fans to use with the vette radiator. I got a thermostat switch with the sensor that goes in the drain plug but the drain plug on the vette radiator do not have the normal 1/4 pipe thread. Please help!!
we sell one in the parts store that works well. the sensor goes into the hose where the hose meets the rad.

I recently bought one of those switches, havent installed it as of yet. Does the sensor bulb actually go INSIDE the top radiator hose where it meets the rad?

Ok, somebody please answer this dumbass question of mine. Does the sensor actually go inside the top hose and then the hose is tightened around the tube and outlet? I was under the impression that the sensor was supposed to be installed in the rad fins...

If nobody answer your question and you are still looking for the answer. I put mine in the top rad hose and it works fine. It comes with a thin piece of rubber that has a grove in it. The bulb wire goes in the grove, the bolb gets put into the hose toward the rad, and the rad hose goes over the thin rubber to prevent leaks.
lol, i never saw this question, yes it goes in the top hose, but I see someone answered that already.
