need help with wiring on 84 s-15

what is the best way to wire up my 84 s-15. iam running a carbed 305. i know you need starter, alternator and dist. also how many wires sould be on starter.? does anyone have a diagram.

I have a wireing diagram for a 84 S10. I also have a flat bed scanner and can scan it. But I don\'t know how I would get the file to you. There are a number of different diagrams. I assume you need only the ignition/starting/charging diagram.

battery wire to the sarter as well as a red wire from harness and a purple wire to the switch on the starter. what kind of dist. are you useing if a points set up use the pink to + of the coil and the black from dist to - of coil.

everything else will use the fac. plugs if you have a electric chock on the carb you can come off of the pink wire to the chock.

you should have a single wire alter. on the back of the alter. you will use the other red wire in the fac. harness the plug on top of the alter. should have a brown wire and a orange wire run the orange wire to the same nut on the back of the alter. with the red one and the brown one you will not need it is for a volt out put you can use it if you are useing the fac. light or gauge on the dash or to a volt meter gauge
